Remembering Jeppe Legends - Norman Gordon (August 6, 1911 - September 2, 2014)

Worlds Oldest Test Cricketer - 103 years

Born on 6 August 1911 in Boksburg

Matriculated - Jeppe Boys in 1929

Died 2 September 2014 in Hillbrow

Nickname "Mobil" - He used Vaseline to slick down his hair

(Might be why we are finding so many vintage Vaseline jars on the Folly and next to the Field)

He loved cricket so much, he repeated Matric to play some more!

Have you noticed this painting hanging on the wall next to

Ms de Wet's classroom door?
